UK construction industry aims to halve emissions in built environment by 2025
Lord Callanan, Minister for Business, Energy and Corporate Responsibility joined the Building for 2050 research team and developer Galliard Homes on Friday 17th September for a tour of the recently completed Tallack Road development in Leyton, London.
​He got to see low carbon technology in action whilst also speaking to residents to find out how they found their new homes.

Tallack Road is the first development to use a large-scale communal air source heat pump feeding an ambient temperature heat network and individual heat pumps, together with solar photovoltaic panels.
